Square inch

The square inch is an Imperial unit/U.S. customary unit (non-SI non-metric) of area, used in the United States. It is defined as the area of a square with sides of 1 inch (0.2777 yards, 0.8333 feet, or 0.0254 metres) in length.

There is no universally agreed symbol but the following are used:
