Historic Places Trust

The Historic Places Trust is a non-profit trust which advocates for the protection of heritage buildings in New Zealand.
It was set up 1954 by an Act of Parliament with a mission to "promote the identification, protection, preservation and conservation of the historical and cultural heritage of New Zealand".
Officially it is the New Zealand Historic Places Trust.
