Nedumangad

Nedumangad is a municipal town in Nedumangad taluk of Thiruvananthapuram district in Kerala state, India. It lies about 20 km from Trivandrum city on the Trivandrum — Tenmalai State Highway. It is an important centre for trade of hill and forest resources like pepper, rubber, etc.

Nedumangd lies 18 km away from Thiruvananthapuram (or Trivandrum) on the way to Ponmudi hill resort. It is the headquarters of one of the 4 Taluks in Thiruvananthapuram district and is unique with no costal belt and railway lines.
Georaphical boundaries - west Trivandrum Taluk, east - State of Tamilnadu, south - Neyyattinkara Taluk and north - Kollam district.
Means of Transport - Nedumangad is well connected by road to Thiruvananthapuram and rest of the taluk. KSRTC - the state owned transport corporation is the only player in the field of passenger transportation.
Buses are operated from the KSRTC Depot right in the heart of the town.
