Miyuki (manga)

Miyuki (みゆき) is a manga by Mitsuru Adachi. It was first published from 1980 to 1984 in Shogakukan’s biweekly manga magazine Shonen Big Comics (precursor to the current Weekly Young Sunday), and subsequently adapted into both a movie, an anime series, and a television series. It was very popular in Japan and was one of the winners of the 28th Shogakukan Manga Awards in 1982.

The anime series, consisting of a total of 37 episodes, was broadcast from March 1983 until April 1984 on the Fuji Television network. A movie version was also released in September 1983.

Fuji Television and Kyodo Television Ltd. (a television production house) later collaborated to produce a television series which debuted on the Fuji Television network on August 41986.
