Minister of Industry (Canada)

In the Cabinet of Canada, The Minister of Industry (French: Ministre de l'Industrie) is responsible for overseeing the federal government's economic development and corporate affairs department, Industry Canada. It is considered one of the most prized Cabinet postings as it ensures close contact with Canada's business elite. Since February 6, 2006, the Minister of Industry has been Maxime Bernier.
