Bajaj Auto

Bajaj Auto is a major Indian automobile manufacturer.
It is based in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, with plants in Akurdi and Chakan, near Mumbai.
Bajaj Auto makes motorscooters, motorcycles and the auto rickshaw. Bajaj Auto does not manufacture cars as of 2004.
Some of the models that Bajaj makes (or has made) are:
- Motorcycles
The company, however in recent years has seen a slow growth rate due to stiff competition from Hero Honda and Suzuki company.
The company is headed by Rahul Bajaj who is worth more than US$850 million.
