Arajs Commando

The Arajs Commando was a Latvian police unit that participated actively in the killing of Jews during the Holocaust. Numbering between 500 – 1,200 members at its height, the Commando killed 26,000 Jews, according to “The Holocaust in Latvia” by Andrievs Ezergailis.
