Anders Fogh Rasmussen cartoons
From Open Encyclopedia
In response to the Danish Prime Minister's handling of the affair with the Muhammad drawings, the Danish newpaper Dagbladet Information published a four-page article presenting twelve satirical drawings of Anders Fogh Rasmussen on the February 4 2006.
The newspaper hired twelve artists and asked them to draw their interpretation of the handling of the affair. All artists were offered anonymity by the newspaper, but all declined this offer.
The most controversial of the drawings depicts Anders Fogh Rasmussen as a crucified Jesus Christ figure, while another one shows the flag of Denmark transforming into a swastika - this is the only cartoon that does not depict the Prime Minister, as one of its protagonists doesn't know who "that Anders guy" is.
